General Information

 

According to the SHGM/SHT-UAV instruction, UAVs with maximum take-off weights are divided into four groups. These;

 

a) UAV 0: UAVs with a maximum take-off weight of 500 g (including) – 4 kg,

 

b) UAV 1: UAVs with a maximum take-off weight between 4 kg (inclusive) – 25 kg,

 

c) UAV 2: UAVs with a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg (inclusive) – 150 kg,

 

d) UAV 3: UAVs with a maximum take-off weight of 150 kg (including) and more.

 

The course distributions required for the trainings to be given according to the UAV class will be explained in the SHGM/SHT-UAV instruction. These trainings, which can be planned as a maximum of 8 lesson hours a day, are programmed in two different categories as UAV 0/UAV 1 and UAV 2/UAV 3.

Documents Required for UAV 0 and UAV 1 Training

 

Pilot who will use UAV0 and UAV1 class aircraft; The UAV system manufacturer should receive training given by its authorized representative or Flight Training Organizations authorized by DGCA. You can find the necessary information and documents to have these documents below:

 

1. Document showing that you are registered in the UAV Pilot Internet Based Registration System in accordance with Article 14 of SHGM/SHT-UAV.

 

a. If the commercial Pilot is a candidate system; After logging into the system at iha.shgm.gov.tr, the document received after pressing the "Print" button on the main menu,

 

b. If commercial Pilot candidate systems are not registered, the following information and documents should be prepared and registered;

- Turkish Identity Number,

 

- Name-Surname and residence information,

 

- Telephone, e-mail, etc. contact information,

 

- Copy of birth certificate,

 

- Criminal record document with archives for those over 18 degrees,

 

- A notarized and certified undertaking by their legal representatives that they accept their legal and criminal responsibilities that may arise in the future for those under the age of 18. (Legal and criminal liability for damages caused by 18-year-old UAV pilots to third parties belongs to the legal representative).

 

- UAV-0 class pilots must be at least 12 years old and UAV-1 class pilots must be at least 15 years old.

 

2. Identity Card Theater of the Candidates (The phrase "For UAV-(Branch Code) Commercial Pilot" will be added in the document entry).

 

3. 3 Photographs.

 

4. Criminal Record Document.

 

5. Certificate of Residence.

 

6. A medical report with the phrase “Becomes a Class B driver” showing the physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

 

7. Bank Receipt showing that the tuition fee has been paid.

 

The "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Commercial Pilot Certificate" is given to the trainees, whose 100% attendance is compulsory, in accordance with the format in the announcement dated 18.12.2017 published by the DGCA for "Authorized UAV Training Organizations", together with the "R" required by the flight permit shield system. /T Radio C
