Entrepreneurship days were organized in the conference hall of the School of Civil Aviation at Süreyya Sadi Bilgiç Campus. Within the scope of the event, KOSGEB Isparta Provincial Director Yurdun Yıldırım and Isparta Investment Support Office Coordinator Öznur Parmaksız, Head of Social Sectors Unit Dr. Emir Olcay Sayın, Specialist Abdullah Madenci and young entrepreneur Süleyman Erdoğrul from Western Mediterranean Development Agency participated as speakers.

The students were informed about the Western Mediterranean Development Agency and KOSGEB and entrepreneurship supports and the supports provided in the business establishment processes were explained. At the end of the event, KOSGEB and BAKA officials, who met with students with business ideas, took the first steps towards students to start their own businesses by guiding them on business establishment processes. The Department of Aviation Management of our School of Higher Education is implementing an important practice in order to provide sector experience to our students. A cooperation protocol was signed between our School and Çelebi Air Service, which completed the preparation process for the “Vocational Training in Business” application. Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltan, Çelebi Air Service Representative Filiz Özsarı and academicians of the School of Civil Aviation attended the signing ceremony of the protocol held at the Rector's Office.

With the protocol, it is aimed for senior students to gain experience by working in aviation enterprises. Rector Prof. Dr. Saltan thanked Çelebi Air Service for their support to the students and stated that the field of civil aviation is very important for our university.

On December 7, World Civil Aviation Day, two separate events were organized by our School.

In this context, firstly, a conference on “History of Turkish Civil Aviation in the 100th Year of the Republic” was held. The opening speech of the event was made by Keçiborlu District Governor Tahsin Aksu and our School Director Dr. Lecturer Ahmet Songur. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Songur made the opening speeches. In the event held with the participation of the students of the School of Civil Aviation and Keçiborlu Aircraft Maintenance Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Associate Prof. Dr. İnan Eryılmaz, Faculty Member of the School of Civil Aviation, made a presentation titled “Turkish Civil Aviation History in the 100th Year of the Republic”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eryılmaz informed the participants about the history and current development of Turkish Civil Aviation. After the conference, the “Kite Festival” organized in cooperation with the School of Civil Aviation and the Aviation and Space Society was held. In the festival held at the 15th of July Republic and Democracy Square in Keçiborlu district, the School management and students brought their kites to the sky together with the people of the district.
