‘WE MAKE AVIATION POPULAR’ EVENT

On 02 December 2024, the ‘Making Aviation Popular’ event held with 3rd grade students at Yılmaz Şener Secondary School was completed with great interest. The event was organised by the Aviation and Space Society in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education (MoNE).

In the event, which was organised to make students love aviation and raise awareness in this field, children had a pleasant time with creative activities such as finger painting and model aircraft making. Within the scope of the event, students were informed about how aircraft work, the basic principles of aviation and the future of the aviation sector. In addition, interactive presentations provided answers to questions about the world of aviation.

This event aimed to attract the interest of children who are introduced to aviation at a young age and to encourage them to pursue a career in this field. Participating students stated that their knowledge about aviation increased and their interest in this field increased even more thanks to the fun activities.

At the end of the event, the students exhibited the model aeroplanes they made and reinforced their ties with aviation.
