TASK DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the objectives and principles determined by the top management of Süleyman Demirel University; In line with the vision and mission of the college, it carries out all the activities related to the department in order to carry out all its activities in accordance with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. He chairs the board of the department and executes the board's decisions.
2. To provide coordination among the academic staff in the department.
3. Distributes the course of the department in a balanced and reasonable way among the instructors.
4. To ensure that all kinds of correspondence between the Department Head and its own department are carried out in a healthy way.
5. To ensure timely and accurate preparation of additional course and exam fee schedules.
6. To perform general supervision and control duties in the department.
7. To ensure the education in the department is maintained regularly.
8. Identifies the educational problems of the department and conveys them to the Department Head.
9. To ensure the student-instructor relations in the department are carried out in a regular and healthy way in line with the aims of education.
10. To try to create a suitable communication environment among the faculty members in the department for the purpose of carrying out education and scientific research in an efficient and effective manner.
11. To ensure the regular preparation and maintenance of research projects in the department.
12. The department carries out evaluation and quality improvement studies.
13. To enable the determination of the output qualifications of the department
14. Prepares the self-evaluation report of the department.
15. Prepares the strategic plan of the department.
16. Carries out the necessary studies for accreditation of the department.
17. Prepares the annual reports of the evaluation and quality improvement studies of the department and submits them to the Department Head.
18. Provides the necessary information about the Department for the Academic General Assembly of the School.
19. Each academic semester prepares the seminar programs of the department and presents them to the Head of the Department.
20. To ensure that course registrations are made regularly at the beginning of each semester.
21. To hold meetings with the advisors so that the course registrations can be made regularly.
22. To ensure the implementation of the consultancy directive.
23. To ensure that the lecture notes are entered into the automation system on a regular basis.
24. To provides the preparation of classroom door programs and lecturer door programs.
25. To ensure the course and teaching programs to be prepared by the instructors are announced on the internet and announced to the students.
26. To ensure that the lecturers do their lessons regularly.
27. To ensure the planning and execution of ERASMUS/FARABI programs.
28. In the department, to provide the preparation of the diploma supplement, taking into account the European Credits Transfer System (ECTS- ECTS).
29. To comply with the ethical rules of the School, to participate in internal control activities,
30. To perform other tasks to be assigned by the Dean's Office.

QUALIFICATIONS IN EMPLOYEE IN THIS JOB
1. To have the general qualifications specified in the Civil Servants Law No. 657 and the Higher Education Law No. 2547;

3. To have managerial qualifications; know the management and administration requirements,
4. To have the necessary decision-making and problem-solving qualities in order to continue their activities in the best way.
RESPONSIBILITY
The head of the department is responsible to the head of the department, while performing all the above-mentioned duties in accordance with the laws and regulations.
